KRISTEN HOFFMAN

OWNER | DIRECTOR
Miss Kristen began her dance training at age three. She received her formal training at Pacific Northwest Ballet, Walnut Hill, and the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. She was a company member at the Olympic Ballet Theatre and a member of the Professional Division at Spectrum Dance Theatre. In addition, she has a certification in Pilates instruction. 


Kristen competed for six years at a national level in the sport of rhythmic gymnastics. She was also a member of the 2011-2013 Lake Stevens High School Cheer Squad. Kristen performed in both Pacific Northwest Ballet and Olympic Ballet Theatre's  Coppélia, Swan Lake, and The Nutcracker.


She has a wealth of knowledge about movement, dance, and how to develop a dancer's full potential through technique and conditioning. Kristen has been able to apply these skills to her teaching to create strong and healthy students. 


She instructs Ballet and is the coach for our Performing Companies and Competition.

MOSELLE CAMPBELL

MEDIA DIRECTOR | ACRO INSTRUCTOR

Miss Moselle has twenty-four years of combined experience in Gymnastics, Cheerleading, Tumbling, and Acro. Her experience stems from her time as a Junior Olympic gymnast and her extensive coaching background.

Moselle's philosophy, as an instructor and coach, has always been to use a progressive/mastery-based approach to teach the necessary skills.  By encouraging students to master basics, she ensures that all skills are done safely, with the student's full confidence. Moselle lives in Everett and is a homeschooling mother of three. This will be her third season with PSNW.

Ms. Moselle instructs Acro, conditioning classes and is a coach for our Competition Team.

CONTEMPORARY & JAZZ INSTRUCTOR

Miss Tori has been dancing since she was 6 years old and was a competition dancer for 12 years. She has a strong background in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, and Acro. Tori has also dabbled in circus arts including aerial silks, hand balancing and contortion.

 

She is starting her third season with us and is excited to share her knowledge.

Miss Tori instructs Contemporary, Jazz,  Heels and Turns & Leaps classes. She is also a coach for our Competition Team.

AMANDA CHRISTENSEN

MUSICAL THEATER INSTRUCTOR

Miss Amanda fell in love with movement at the age of 6. Amanda received her training in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Lyrical. During college, she found great joy for contemporary and international styles! Amanda toured with BYU’s International Folk Dance Ensemble in Europe and China where she performed Bollywood, Irish, American Clogging, European and Asian styles. 

 

Amanda’s passion for dance continued as she taught at dance studios in Utah, New Mexico and WA over the past 11 years. She has choreographed for competitions and for the Nutcracker. She recently has added fitness instruction to her love of movement.

This is her first season with us and is excited to be with PSNW!

AUDREY BALDWIN

HIP HOP & JAZZ INSTRUCTOR

Miss Audrey began her movement journey in gymnastics at age 3. Due to an injury at just nine years old, she switched her focus to dance. Since then, she started competing and has been active in most every dance style.

 

The 2022-23 Season will be her final year on the Competition Team. As she enters her senior year of high school, she begins her second year of instruction here at PSNW. 

​

Miss Audrey instructs Hip Hop, Jazz and is also a coach for our Competition team.

CHLOE BALES

TAP INSTRUCTOR

Miss Chloe began her dance journey through musical theater. She has been involved in Musical Theater for over 13 years; participating in regional nonprofit organizations as well as in school performances. She began Tap at the age of 15 where she found herself excelling and fell in love. She then went on to join the competition team at Pacific West Performing Arts for 2 years.

 

In those 2 years she also participated in several different dance classes including, Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop and of course Broadway and Rhythm Tap classes. Chloe also spent time training with The Seattle Rhythm Company. During this time she was also able to participate in student choreography for Lake Stevens High School's Drama Department. She went on to earn awards such as The Student Recognition Award and an Honorable Mention from Fifth Avenue. 

​

The 2022-23 Season will be her first season of instruction here at PSNW.

LYRICAL & JAZZ INSTRUCTOR

Miss Maddie began her dance training at the age of 15 as a member of Snohomish High School's Dance Team in the styles of Pom and Hip Hop. Eager to learn more, she began training in jazz, hip hop and later ballet and contemporary with PSNW as part of the 2021-22 competition team.

 

After working hard to catch up to her peers, she is excited to take her next step in her dance career as an instructor. She will be entering her senior year of high school and her second year of the PSNW Competition Team for the 2022-23 Season.

Miss Maddie instructs Turns & Leaps II/III, Jazz II/III, Lyrical and is also a coach for our Competition team.

KALIE KIMPLE

SUBSITUTE INSTRUCTOR

Kalie began her dance training at age two and continued intensively until 2009. After starting a family, Kalie began instructing dance and has loved every minute of it. She continues her own dance training and education through artEmotion.

​

Kalie is also a certified yoga teacher as well as a licensed massage therapist. This training has allowed her to have extreme consideration for maintaining healthy muscles and joints as well as optimum alignment while dancing. She loves to share this knowledge with her students along with a focus on strong technical skills.

 

Kalie enjoys teaching Ballet, Pointe, and Modern dance as well as inspiring young dancers through creative movement. Whether it’s to become audition ready or just to have fun, Kalie is happy to help her students reach their goals. 

​

This is her second season with our studio and we are excited to have her on staff.

​

Miss Kalie is our substitute instructor.

Assistant teachers are currently enrolled in at least 5 hours of class per week and our top students. Assistants are also 14 years or older with 5 years dance experience and have prior experience working with children. All of our assistants follow class plans and instructions of the main teacher and are available for every scheduled class. They are also treated as employee and follow handbook and dress code for each class. All assistants are compensated with training, experience and complimentary tuition. For every class assisted, assistant teachers will receive one complimentary class of their choice. Assistant Teacher applications are taken throughout the year.
